The design is based on the destruction by loss of tightness at the end of the assigned life-time concept.

Cylinder consists of:

  • Thin stainless steel liner.
  • Composite overwrap made of carbon fibre filament impregnated with epoxy resin.

Standard vent or valve is mounted on the top flange securely welded to the liner and fixed in the composite overwrap.

Design provides for:

  • High level of bursting pressure (at least 1000 bar).
  • 2 to 2.5 times weight reduction compared to that of an equivalent steel cylinder. Not susceptible to corrosion in aggressive environments.
  • Fire and explosion safety when exposed to fire and shock.
  • Shatterproof breakage in emergency situations.
  • Fill with gases of 1А, 1F, 1O, 2A classes in compliance with ADR/ RID classification.
  • Life period of 15 years as per EN 12245 requirements.

The product is certified and manufactured in accordance with EU requirements of directives 99/36/EEC (TPED) and 97/23/EEC (PED), and in compliance with NPB 190 - 2000 and GOST.

Reliability and safety of our innovative product in confirmed by the tests carried out to obtain the approval in accordance with ADR/ RID requirements and ISO, EN standards.
